A new gym has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 111 West St. John St. in Downtown, the new arrival is called Orangetheory Fitness.

This newcomer—which has expanded rapidly since its inception in 2009—has over 300 locations across the country, with more expected to debut internationally this year as well.

The gym specializes in heart-rate monitored, one-hour interval training classes that include cardiovascular and strength training to "spike metabolism and boost energy," according to the business' website.

Classes are taught in a group setting with a personal instructor to help each member reach their fitness goals, and everyone is welcome regardless of skill level. Members are estimated to burn 500–1000 calories during each 60-minute workout.

There's just one review on Yelp thus far, which gives it five stars.

Anna N., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on February 10th, said: "The downtown location recently opened, so decided to check it out since they had an early Saturday class (6:15 AM) and Coach Daniel was there! Hands down, one of the best coaches!"

Orangetheory Fitness is now open at 111 West St. John St., so swing on by to take a peek.
