Hungry? A new neighborhood Chinese spot has you covered. Located at 182 Brighton Ave. (between Parkvale Ave. & Quint Ave.) in Allston, the new addition is called Xi'an Street Foods.

The new spot offers traditional street foods from the Chinese city of Xi'an, home of the famed terracotta warriors and the capital city of Shaanxi province. The Fuzhou-based company has 30 locations across China, according to its website.

On the menu, look for the roujiamo, a flatbread bun filled with vegetables, stewed pork or cumin beef or lamb. There are also noodle options, such as braised beef noodle soup, hot-and-sour sweet potato noodles and two different kinds of cold noodles.

With a three-star rating out of 15 reviews on Yelp so far, Xi'An Street Foods has received mixed feedback—but it's still early days.

Karen Y., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on February 5th, said: "The portion size is really generous and I almost couldn't finish my bowl. What's also promising is that you can order these noodles paired with a roujiamo and a drink for just a few dollars more."

And Angela S. wrote, "Really good pork and lamb 'burger'/'sandwich', whichever you would like to call it, but on the menu it's called 'rougamo.' It involves deliciously seasoned pork or lamb stuffed inside a grilled flatbread/English-muffin-shaped bun. If you can only get one thing or just a snack to go, I would get this."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Xi'an Street Foods is open daily from 11am–11pm.
