A new barbershop has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 770 Tremont St. (between Worcester St & Springfield St) in the South End, the newcomer is called Society Barbershop.
The newcomer is owned by two stylists who have more than 20 years of experience between them, Society Barbershop says on its Yelp page.
"We decided to open our own business to bring our customers a better service than [what] they are accustomed to at other shops," the owners explain.
Society Barbershop specializes in haircuts, fades, and shaves. There are also discounted services for children and seniors. (To see its full menu of services, check out its Booksy page.)
With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the new barbershop is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Joey F., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 3rd, said: "I've been going to Alex for almost two years now and I have never had a bad experience with him. He takes care of all his clients like family and ensures that you are looking your best when you get out of that chair. "
Yelper Jonathan R. added: “Freddy and Alex are great! Coming from Cut N Edge, we've been getting our haircuts from them for two years now and now they've opened their own spot. Use Booksy or stop in for an impromptu haircut.”
