Craving burgers? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Tasty Burger, the newcomer is located at 1 Nashua St. in the West End, in the Avalon North Station development.
This is the Boston-based chain's sixth location; it has five others in Massachusetts, as well as one in Washington, D.C.
Like its other outposts, Tasty Burger offers several different kinds of burgers, including "The Mama," with fried pickles and onions, cheese and jalapeños; the "Gorgonzola" with bleu cheese and smoked bacon; and a veggie burger with guacamole, spinach and red onion.
For sides, look for fries, tater tots and onion rings. (Take a look at the full menu here.)
Tasty Burger has gotten good reviews thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.
Oanh P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on February 5th, said: "Burgers were delicious! The meat patty and quality of the burger is definitely restaurant comparable. It was melting with oil. Each burger was nicely packed! Also, got chili fries and that was amazing as well."
And Keith H. said: "I had a bacon cheeseburger, fries and soft drink. Although the burger was tasty, I found it to be a small patty. Was not asked how I wanted it cooked. The portion size of fries was also small, and they are shoestring fries."
