A new breakfast and brunch spot, offering baked goods and more, has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Back Bay, called Tatte Bakery & Cafe, is located at 399 Boylston St. (between Arlington St. & Berkeley St.).

Diners can expect offerings like the potato and duck confit shakshuka with leeks and poached eggs, a prosciutto and fig panini, and a croque monsieur with ham and gruyere.

On the extensive pastry menu, look for a variety of croissants, including pistachio and ham and cheese. (Take a look at all of the assorted menus here.)

With a four-star rating out of 13 reviews on Yelp so far, Tatte Bakery & Cafe has gotten a good response.

Joey M., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on January 19th, said, "I stopped in for coffee and saw the list of breakfasts, oggled the pastries and generally just basked in the new coffee shop glow. I will be back, frequently. My wallet will hate me but I will eat shakshuka more than it's healthy for a grown man to eat (Just kidding, that doesn't exist). "

And Rory G. said, "Tatte is a solid spot. You just have to knock off a star because it is pricy and usually absolutely packed. This location is bigger than the one nearby on Charles St. though, so [I] imagine it may be better."

Head on over to check it out: Tatte Bakery & Cafe is open weekdays from 7am–8pm, Saturday from 8am–8pm, and Sunday from 8am–7pm.
