A new café has debuted in downtown Dallas. The fresh arrival, called Otto's Coffee & Fine Foods, is located at 1321 Commerce St.
Look for a breakfast menu that includes freshly prepared bagels, pain au chocolat and chia seed pudding, salads and European-style sandwiches served on baguettes. The café's coffee drinks are made with beans from Dallas's own Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters.
Otto's Coffee & Fine Foods has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.
Taylor S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 20, said, "I wish I could have made it for their grand opening, but since I couldn't, I made sure to put it on my hit list, and I'm so glad I did! The aesthetic is super cute, and so classy and relaxing. I could have sat there all morning. I ordered a drip coffee (plane Jane, I know, I know) and a quiche. Both were very simplistic and super delicious. I will be back for sure!"
Yelper Shandelle B. added, “Went here for opening day and was really impressed! The space is lovely and welcoming. Very pleasing decor. I chose some chia seed pudding which I had never tried before and it was quite good! I would definitely have it again. I can't wait to go back and spend an afternoon working from home or relaxing with friends over an afternoon latte.”
And Matt W. said, "I stumbled across Otto's during their grand opening. There was free drip coffee and it was really good! The environment gave me a Great Gatsby feel. The staff was friendly, and it looked like there were a lot of pastries to try out. I would definitely come and check this out. A gem indeed!"
