A new Sichuan spot has opened for business in the neighborhood. Called Szechwan JMC, the fresh addition is located at 243 W. Cermak Rd. (between S. Princeton Ave. & S. Wentworth Ave.) in Chinatown.

The new restaurant has taken over the spot once occupied by the Claypot Noodle Shop, Eater Chicago reports.

On the menu, look for offerings such as braised duck, steamed pork belly, tea-flavored shrimp and spicy diced rabbit. For dessert, diners will find tapioca with mango and sesame rice ball with wine sauce.

Szechwan JMC has proven popular thus far, with a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.

Kay W., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on March 21st, said, "The taste is extraordinary. It's authentic. Highly recommend."

Yelper Diana H. added, “Best Sichuan restaurant in Chinatown. Love the owner, she's so sweet! We'll be coming often.”
