A new breakfast and lunch spot, offering beer and wine, has opened for business in the Loop. Located at 23 E Jackson Blvd., the newcomer is called Beatrix Market.

This new spot offers busy workers and area residents a convenient way to pick up a meal on the go. Customers can scoop up breakfast or lunch fare such as self-serve salads, soups and a variety of hot dishes, then take them on the run or stay put and dine in-house. Sandwiches, snacks and pastries are also on offer, along with a full coffee bar.

Private dining areas and lounges are on-site and can accommodate large parties. Customers can pair beer, liquor or wine from the full-service bar and lounge with a slice or individual deep-dish pie from the pizza counter.

With a five-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Beatrix Market's new location has been warmly received by patrons.

Marilia P., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 8, said, "My husband and I went on Saturday morning for breakfast and our experience was amazing! All the staff members are smiley and very friendly. The atmosphere is great, the decoration is great, the decoration is adorable!"

Yelper Jamie M. added, “Welcome to the neighborhood! A great addition to our breakfast and lunch offerings in the Loop. The new Beatrix Market offers an awesome selection of to-go breakfast items.”

Head on over to check it out: Beatrix Market is open from 7 a.m.–7 p.m. on weekdays. (It's closed on weekends).
