A new spot to score desserts, coffee and tea has debuted in Northeast Dallas. The new arrival to the neighborhood, called Humble: Simply Good Pies, is located at 9014 Garland Rd.
Look forward to a menu that changes by the season, depending on the availability of local fresh fruit. Spring flavors include the chocolate cream pie, coconut cream pie, banana cream pie and Alabama pecan pie.
With a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, Humble: Simply Good Pies seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
Amy D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 11, said, "I cannot say enough wonderful things about these pies, especially the chocolate pie! It tastes like rich, top of the line chocolate with perfect crust."
Yelper Alex J. added, “The shop is owned by a small family from the area and they make good, old-fashioned pies. Possibly the best part of every pie is the buttery-flakey crust that's a part of almost every pie they sell!”
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Humble: Simply Good Pies is open from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. from Tuesday-Thursday and Sunday, and 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (It's closed on Monday.)
