Ice cream fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix, especially if you're heading to a Cubs game. National ice cream chain Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams has a new location at 3657 N Clark St. next to Wrigley Field.
Jeni's uses natural ingredients to produce creative flavors include cream puff, sorbets, ricotta toast with red berry geranium jam, and salted honey pie. On the menu, you’ll also find classic flavors like chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.
The new location has gotten an enthusiastic response so far, with a five-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp.
Linda N., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 25, said, "Every ice cream lover needs to go to Jeni's, and they won't be disappointed by any of the Chicago locations they visit."
“My friend from Columbus insisted that I go to Jeni's while I was in Wrigleyville, and I was not disappointed. I was in love as soon as I walked in the door. I love that you can get ice cream flights. That's right, a flight of ice cream. Getting a flight allowed me to taste as many flavors as I wanted. The mix and match flight equaled three and a half scoops, the perfect amount,”adds Yelper Hannah D.
And Victoria K. said, "Jeni's has always been consistent throughout all of the Chicago stores and this location is no different! I tried the new flavors here, such as the exclusive Peanuts! Popcorn! unique to the Wrigleyville location, and it tasted like Cracker Jacks."
