A new grocery store has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 15121 Ballancroft Parkway in Ballantyne, the new addition is Sprouts Farmers Market.

This is the third outpost for the Arizona-based supermarket chain, which has additional storefronts in Raleigh and Fayetteville, and one more on the way in Durham (plus many others across the country). The location offers shoppers a multitude of produce and vegetables, along with a variety of services, including a juice bar, a sandwich station, fresh sushi and more.

With a four-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp so far, Sprouts Farmers Market has gotten a good response.

Joan R., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 9, said, "Sprouts is a very upscale grocery/ supermarket similar but larger than Trader Joe's and with more selections. The fruit and vegetable, meat and cheese displays are gorgeous."

And Sam K. said, "This grocery store is a Trader Joe's type concept but ten times better. The bulk foods section is by far the greatest I've encountered compared to other grocers."
