Next up is Fenway's Crispy Crêpes Cafe, situated at 714 Commonwealth Ave. With four stars out of 162 reviews on Yelp, the crêperie, Mediterranean and breakfast and brunch spot has proven to be a local favorite.

Get ready for a selection of sweet crêpes filled with items like honey-glazed strawberries, bananas, Nutella, cinnamon and ricotta cheese. In the mood for something savory? Check out fillings like eggs, scallions, bacon, ham, sausage and grilled vegetables.

3. Sakura Sunakku

Meanwhile, located at 42 Beach St., Sakura Sunakku is another top choice.  Yelpers give the counter-seating-only crêperie, which offers ramen and more, four stars out of 99 reviews.

"This place is not very obvious to the outside world," Yelper Chelsea C. said. "It's tucked into the same plaza where Avana Sushi lives in Chinatown. They have a ramen bar where you can sit, which I appreciate. They serve ramen and bento boxes — and sweet crêpes for dessert. Overall, this place was all right. I'd love to come back to try their ramen though."

4. Fromage Wine and Cheese Bar

Fromage Wine and Cheese Bar, a bar, crêperie and tapas joint in South Boston, is another go-to, with four stars out of 73 Yelp reviews. Head over to 401 W. Broadway (between E and F streets) to see for yourself.

Look for small plates like baked brie, hanger steak with seasonal vegetables and fingerling potatoes, osso bucco bites, seared salmon with orange infused spinach purée, crab cakes and jalapeño poppers.

The spot features charcuterie and cheese platters, offers catering services, and boasts a robust wine list plus a wide selection of beers.
