Need more burgers in your life?
Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top burger sources in New Orleans, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best places to grab a burger in the city.
1. District Donuts Sliders Brew

Topping the list is District Donuts Sliders Brew. Located at 2209 Magazine St. in the Garden District, the spot to score coffee and tea, doughnuts and burgers is the most popular burger spot in New Orleans, boasting 4.5 stars out of 1,500 reviews on Yelp.
Not only does this joint serve double cheeseburgers, fried chicken sandwiches, vegetarian burgers and pork belly sliders — it also features a selection of beers, juices, tea, and scratch-made doughnuts in flavors like oatmeal pie, cinnamon sugar, Zulu, chocolate glazed, Nutella, Boston cream and king cake.
2. Port of Call

Next up is the French Quarter's Port Of Call, situated at 838 Esplanade Ave. With four stars out of 1,307 reviews on Yelp, the bar and steakhouse has proven to be a local favorite.
This much-beloved haunt piles heaps of shredded cheddar atop generous burgers accompanied by hearty baked potatoes fully loaded with butter, sour cream, bacon bits and chives. Be sure to keep your Uber app handy as you won't be driving anywhere after washing it all down with a pirate-sized pour of Neptune's Monsoon — a dangerously potent concoction mixed with rum and sweet fruit punch.
3. The Camellia Grill

Leonidas' The Camellia Grill, located at 626 S. Carrollton Ave., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the traditional American spot, which offers burgers and sandwiches, four stars out of 774 reviews.
After a late night at the Maple Leaf with the Rebirth Brass Band, cruise around the corner and belly up to the counter for a chocolate freeze while you choose from menu items like cheeseburgers, po'boys, hot dogs, onion rings, fries, hot sandwiches, ubiquitous breakfast options, or a slice of pecan pie with ice cream.
4. The Company Burger

The Company Burger, a spot to score burgers and fast food in Freret, is another go-to, with four stars out of 631 Yelp reviews. Head over to 4600 Freret St. to see for yourself.
Yelp reviewer Jeff T. wrote, "I ordered a cheeseburger and tots. The burger was cooked perfectly. Although they don't have lettuce, which I had never heard of. But burger was so good I didn't miss it."
5. Cowbell

Over in Leonidas, check out Cowbell, which has earned four stars out of 448 reviews on Yelp. You can find the diner and New American spot, which offers burgers and more, at 8801 Oak St.
Located just a few blocks from the Jacques-Imo's Cafe, this joint serves up natural grass-fed beef burgers on toasted potato rolls with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, agogo sauce, housemade ketchup and hand-cut fries. Not in the mood for a burger? The restaurant also offers fish tacos, tuna burgers, grilled shrimp Cobb salads and crawfish macaroni and cheese.
