Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top Greek restaurants around Baltimore, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to venture when cravings strike.

1. Samos Restaurant

Topping the list is Samos Restaurant. Located at 600 Oldham St. in Greektown, this spot, which offers sandwiches and more, is the highest rated Greek restaurant in Baltimore, boasting 4.5 stars out of 413 reviews on Yelp.

Expect to find classic Greek dishes like souvlaki, dolmas, grilled octopus, gyros and spanakopita. The menu also includes pasta, pizza, sandwiches and desserts. 

2. Baba's Mediterranean Kitchen

Next up is Riverside's Baba's Mediterranean Kitchen, situated at 745 E. Fort Ave. With 4.5 stars out of 330 reviews on Yelp, the Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and Greek spot has proven to be a local favorite.

Everything is made from scratch at this family-run restaurant, which offers salads, kebabs, falafel, burgers and a variety of vegetarian options.

3. Zorba's Bar & Grill

Greektown's Zorba's Bar & Grill, located at 4710 Eastern Ave., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the Greek spot 4.5 stars out of 101 reviews.

Stop in for fried eggplant, saganaki cheese, lamb chops, grilled pita, gyros, grilled octopus, stuffed grape leaves and more. 

"This has to be the best Greek food in Baltimore (let alone Greektown)," wrote Yelp reviewer Mike K. "Make sure to get the pork chops (you get seven small-but-good-sized chops per order), and the tzatziki is phenomenal. This is a must-visit if you need authentic Greek cuisine. Opa!"

4. Cypriana of Roland Park

Cypriana of Roland Park, a Greek restaurant in Tuscany-Canterbury, is another much-loved go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 99 Yelp reviews. 

Chef Maria Kaimakis' menu includes dishes like grilled eggplant, lamb chops and flatbread with spinach, onions, herbs, feta, provolone and mozzarella. Head over to 105 W. 39th St. to see for yourself.

5. Ouzo Bay

Over in Inner Harbor, check out Ouzo Bay, which has earned four stars out of 290 reviews on Yelp. You can find the Greek and Mediterranean spot, which offers seafood and more, at 1000 Lancaster St.

Expect to find dishes like shrimp saganaki with spiced ouzo tomato sauce, kalamata olives, zucchini, feta and confit of fennel, along with a variety of soups, salads, wines and cocktails.
