A new massage studio has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Cloud9 Massage & Wellness, the newcomer is located at 231 Holland St. in Davis Square.
Cloud9 offers massages across a variety of modalities, including Thai, Swedish, deep-tissue and reflexology. The studio's signature massage combines elements of deep-tissue and Thai massage, utilizing hot stones as well. Massages start at $45 for 30 minutes, running up to $115-140 for an 85-minute session.
In addition to massages, Cloud9 offers customized signature and "age defense" facials.
With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh arrival has already made a good impression.
K. D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 10, wrote, "Drove by the other day while we were talking about how we needed a massage and saw the new client special. How can you beat a couples massage for 55 minutes for less than $100? Yeah, you can't."
Yelper Sarah M. added, “Wow, this place is a gem! I had the signature massage with Nadia today, and absolutely loved it! I usually just get Swedish/deep tissue, but am really glad I tried their signature massage, which included deep tissue, hot stones and Thai massage at the end.”
