Dos Diablos Taco Bar is one of a pair of establishments (Two Saints Tavern is the other) to be brought to this block on Gainsborough near Symphony Hall by serial restaurateurs Brian O’Donnell and Dropkick Murphy’s Ken Casey, Eater Boston reports.
The food menu is simple. Dos Diablos serves tacos packed with carnitas, chorizo, shrimp, chipotle-lime chicken, and more, along with shrimp ceviche and sides of guacamole, queso fundido and hummus.
On the drink list, look for American and Mexican lagers, wine and cocktails. Standout selections include the El Diablo (olmeca altos, reposado, lime, crème de cassis and ginger beer) and the Paloma (Cuervo Silver tequila, lime and grapefruit soda). The sangrias come in grapefruit mint rosé, peach lemon apple and sidecar options.
Dos Diablos Taco Bar currently holds five stars from the one review so far on Yelp.
Yelper Patrick O., who reviewed Dos Diablos Taco Bar on June 9, wrote, "Tacos? Check. Tequila? Check. Sexy atmosphere? Check. I would choose this over any other place in the area every day!"
Dos Diablos Taco Bar is open from 4 p.m.–2 a.m. daily. Kitchen is open until midnight.
