Fast-casual eatery Hot Indian keeps expanding in the area with its newest outpost in downtown Minneapolis. Located at 121 S. Eighth St., it's the restaurant group's fourth brick-and-mortar location, in addition to its food truck.
The restaurant offers customizable Indian food. Choose between a large burrito, three tacos, rice or greens as a base. Next, select chicken tikka masala, lamb, pork vindaloo or vegetarian gobi or channa. Finally, add some chutney or slaw to complete your meal. The menu can be seen here.
The fresh arrival has received mixed feedback — but it's still early days.
Déjà J., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 22, wrote, "Cute little restaurant! I love how colorful and decorated the walls are. The art actually shows their different locations throughout the city (Twins field, food truck, downtown)."
Head on over to check it out: Hot Indian is open from 11 a.m.–2:30 p.m. on weekdays. (It's closed on weekends.)
