There's a brand-new dessert and cocktail bar in Quincy. Located at 470 Southern Artery, Suite 2 in Adams Shore, the fresh addition is called Sala by Fratelli's.

Sala by Fratelli's comes from the Milone family, who also own the three Fratelli's Pastry Shop locations in Quincy, Weymouth, and Taunton. The new location offers a chance to enjoy Fratelli's pastries in a "laid-back yet sophisticated setting" alongside cocktails and wine, according to the restaurant's website.

Unsurprisingly, the menu is centered around desserts like cannoli, profiteroles, strawberry shortcake, and the Chocolate Lover's Dream, a chocolate cake layered with chocolate mousse and ganache. A few savory snacks, like spaghetti and meatball bites and charcuterie plates, round things out.

To pair with the desserts, there's a large selection of espresso drinks, cordials and sweet cocktails like the All Nighter, with espresso vodka, chai cream liqueur, amaro and bitters.

The new cocktail bar has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.

John C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 27, wrote, "Great spot for after-dinner drinks and dessert or for Friday night apps after work. The desserts, as always with Fratelli's, are IMO the best in the city."

Yelper Anna L. added, “I cannot day enough good things about their food, drinks, and obviously dessert. My favorites would have to be the meatballs and the adult coffee milk. I'm not much of a sweets person, but I couldn't stop myself from eating everything!"

Head on over to check it out: Sala by Fratelli's is open from 5 p.m.–11 p.m. on Thursday, 5 p.m.–1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 3 p.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday-Wednesday.)
