Looking to chow down on some New American fare? A new arrival to Worcester has you covered. The fresh arrival, called 110 Grill, is located at 123 Front St.
Worcester marks the 12th location for this burgeoning "modern American cuisine" chain, which has outposts across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. On the menu, you'll find an eclectic mix of dishes, from buffalo chicken flatbread to sesame-ginger salmon to pappardelle bolognese. The menu features special sections for vegetarian and gluten-free diners as well.
Pair your meal with a craft beer, glass of wine or cocktail like the Ginger Mule: a concoction of Hammer & Sickle vodka, apple-ginger shrub and lemon topped with Gosling's ginger beer.
110 Grill has made a shaky start thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp, though it's still early days.
Amelia L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 8, wrote, "I went here on a Thursday afternoon for lunch and was blown away. Interior reminded me of Tavern by the Square in Shrewsbury. As I walked in, the hostess greeted me right away, super friendly and promptly sat. Our server came and got our drink orders and definitely was able to make some really good recommendations for food."
Yelper Jourdan L. was less pleased: “NOT A FAN. Ambiance and atmosphere is great. You feel like you're in a very classy place, not Worcester. Hosting staff greets you immediately. We were brought to our table and left there for about 30 minutes before asked what we'd like to drink. We were also starving, so we asked for bread we saw another table eating, since we weren't given any."
And Lykke N. wrote, "Very pretentious and overpriced for a chain restaurant. Wait staff presented typical hipster snobbery. The interior looked like the lobby of a Marriott. Appetizers & entrees were ludicrously priced compared to local eateries."
Head on over to check it out: 110 Grill is open from 11:30 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday, 11:30 a.m.–10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and 11:30 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
