1. Dangerous Man Brewing Co

Topping the list is Dangerous Man Brewing Co. Located at 1300 Second St. NE in Northeast Minneapolis, it is the highest rated brewery in the city, boasting 4.5 stars out of 279 reviews on Yelp.
The business says its focus is on "high-quality, small-batch production beers with ever-changing taps," per its website. Look for craft beers like the citrusy and fruity House IPA, the Peach Milkshake IPA, the Watermelon Sour or the Peanut Butter Porter with hints of chocolate and coffee.
2. Surly Brewing

Next up is Surly Brewing, situated at 520 Malcolm Ave. SE near Prospect Park. With four stars out of 809 reviews on Yelp, the brewery has proven to be a local favorite.
This establishment says it brews aggressively and offers hoppy IPAs, light ales and pilsners, coffee-based malt beers, as well as traditional Belgian beers and some unusual ones.

This offering has seasonal and year-round beers on draft in its taproom, and also hosts weekly events such as rotating food trucks and trivia.
Expect beer options such as the year-round citrusy Barncat IPA with mosaic hops or the St. Gail, a raspberry honey ale with a pinkish hue. This dog-friendly establishment has a 12,000-square-foot taproom and features German beer hall-style seating. The event calendar sports live music, food trucks and even 5K runs.

Indeed was founded by Rachel Anderson, Nathan Berndt and Tom Whisenand and sold its first beer in August of 2012. The brewery offers up classic house favorites, IPAs, seasonal and limited beers.
