Gas Monkey Live is a new live music venue and event space that recently opened in Northwest Dallas at 10110 Technology Blvd. E.
It's an extension of Gas Monkey Bar N' Grill, which is right up the road. It's a full-service restaurant in its own right, complete with a bar.
The newcomer's drink options include draft and canned beers, both imported and domestic, plus specialty drinks like the Pink Floyd (Deep Eddy grapefruit, soda and pineapple juice with a splash of Sprite), the Rob Zombie (Kruto vodka, pineapple juice and orange juice with a touch of cherry syrup) and the Maroon 5 (Ciroc mango, Razzmatazz and lemonade).
On the food side, you've got burgers and fries, quesadillas, nachos, chicken tenders, hot dogs and barbecue pulled pork sliders.

With a three-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp so far, the music venue has received mixed feedback — but it's still early days.
Kacey R., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on June 5, said, "Super spacious venue. I've seen multiple shows at this concert venue, and every time I have had a blast. There is no wrong spot to stand or sit during the concerts. There is also a very large bar towards the back of the venue."
Yelper Ocean R. added, “I was at the June 1 concert to see Stryper and it was the worst experience I've ever had in my life. Due to a miscommunication from the staff at the venue, I was in the line for General Admission while the Meet & Greet had taken place and I didn't get to meet the band."
