Whole Foods

Whole Foods is a national health market and grocery chain that specializes in natural and organic items. 

This is its fourth store in the Charlotte area and is located across the street from the Charlotte Convention Center and NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Visitors can expect a bar that serves Allegro coffee and has six local beers on tap, as well as a large prepared foods area, per its website. There are also full-service meat and seafood departments, and complimentary parking is available on-site. 

This location only has one review so far from Danielle L.

She wrote, "I love the market and I love what they stand for. Overall, I appreciate the cleanliness of the store. The staff members were friendly and doing an excellent job with keeping up the store appearance and wait times."

Patel Brothers

Patel Brothers is a national grocery store with locations from California to Connecticut. According to its website, the chain strives to provide Indian ingredients to its communities, including dals, lentils and rice, as well as aromatic, all-natural Indian spices.

Visitors can expect an array of canned and packaged goods, health and beauty products, snacks and ready-to-eat products that cover both North and South Indian cuisines.

Patel Brothers is off to a promising start with a current Yelp rating of 4.5 stars out of three reviews.

Yelper Maddie M. wrote, "They have groceries from all regions of India and everything is very clean and organized. Huge selection of Indian produce and frozen foods. From spices to grains, this is your one-stop shop for all your Indian grocery needs."

Yelper Ravi G. wrote, "Patel Brothers meets all the requirements of the Indian household. It contains the most common groceries of India, Pakistan and Nepal."

Patel Brothers is open from 10 a.m.–8:30 p.m. daily.

Sprouts Farmers Market

Sprouts Farmers Market is an Arizona-based supermarket chain with multiple outposts in North Carolina.

This location offers visitors a wide assortment of fresh produce along with a juice bar, sandwich station, fresh sushi and more.

With a four-star rating out of 19 reviews on Yelp so far, Sprouts Farmers Market has gotten a positive response.

Joan R., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 9, said, "Sprouts is a very upscale grocery/ supermarket similar but larger than Trader Joe's and with more selections. The fruit and vegetable, meat and cheese displays are gorgeous."

And Sam K. said, "This grocery store is a Trader Joe's type concept but 10 times better. The bulk foods section is by far the greatest I've encountered compared to other grocers."
