A new breakfast and brunch spot has made its debut in the neighborhood. The new addition to Mid-City, called Fullblast Brunch, is located at 139 S. Cortez Street. not too far from the legendary Mandina's Creole restaurant.
If we truly are what we eat then get ready to become eggs any style with andouille sausage, bacon, grits and breakfast potatoes; crabcakes with eggs, grits and toast; black-bean burgers with avocado sauce and pico de gallo; shrimp remoulade over romaine; and Cajun-seared chicken breast with basil, garlic and pasta.
Nancy K., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on June 14, said, "Great breakfast and excellent service."
Sashay over to check it out. Fullblast Brunch is open from 7 a.m.–2:30 p.m. on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. (It's closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.)
