Newk's Eatery, located at 2217 N. Tarrant Parkway, Suite 201, is a new fast-casual spot that serves up American fare. It's among the newest eateries in the far north area's Presidio Junction shopping complex. It's also the chain's first location in Fort Worth, though there are already three other locations in the greater Metroplex.
The new restaurant's menu is divided across three main sections: pizzas, sandwiches and salads. Pizzas include the Mediterranean with grilled chicken, olives, tomatoes, artichoke hearts and more and the spicy chicken. For salads, you've got options like the Cobb or ahi tuna. Sandwiches are served with your choice of side, and include the pesto chicken and shrimp po'boy. (See the full dine-in menu here.)
You can also grab a slice of a freshly baked dozen-layer cake, which comes in strawberry, caramel, chocolate and red velvet flavors.
Newk's Eatery is off to a strong start with a current Yelp rating of 4.5 stars out of seven reviews.
Yelper John Q., who reviewed the restaurant on June 7, wrote, "Newk's is a brand-new restaurant in the area and it's going to be popular! The store is nice and large and even has an outdoor seating area! The staff was very nice and the food came out quick (and they were slammed)!"
Yelper Roy R. wrote, "The shrimp pizza was really good! I ate the the whole thing all by myself. My wife had some salad and she loved it too. Great customer service and the staff was quick to wipe down tables for the next guests."
