Craving ice cream and frozen yogurt? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Sweet Science Ice Cream, the fresh addition is located at 1360 Lexington Parkway North in Como.
This new offering sources all of its ingredients locally and uses organic milk and sugar from the Twin Cities area. According to the business' website, Sweet Science combines its organic ingredients "in small batches, creating one-of-a-kind flavors." This spot creates its ice cream base, syrups, cookies, swirls and crunches by hand in its St. Paul kitchen.

Sweet Science Ice Cream has already attracted fans thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 20 reviews on Yelp.
Avneet S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on August 28, wrote, "Holy moly. Was here for National Ice Cream Day this summer and had a great experience."
