1. SukhoThai

Topping the list is SukhoThai. Located at 2200 Royal St. in the Marigny, the Thai spot is the highest rated Thai restaurant in New Orleans, boasting four stars out of 182 reviews on Yelp.
With an alternate location Uptown, this establishment specializes in classic Thai cuisine like chicken or shrimp satay featuring a yellow coconut curry marinade, satay peanut sauce and cucumber chutney; Pad Thai, with thin rice noodles fried in a tamarind sauce with egg, fresh bean sprouts, green onions, peanuts and lime; and Royal Basil Duck, made from tender fried boneless duck with savory basil sauce, fresh vegetables and crispy basil leaves.
2. Chill Out Cafe

Next up is East Carollton's Chill Out Cafe, situated at 729 Burdette St. With four stars out of 125 reviews on Yelp, the Thai and breakfast and brunch spot, which offers salads and more, has proven to be a local favorite.
Chill out and sample breakfast items like waffles, pancakes, omeletes, and steak and eggs; soups like chicken and sausage gumbo and wonton soup with vegetables; appitizers like shrimp toast and edamame; and chef's creations like beef with oyster sauce, and talapia with basil sauce. The establishment also boasts a selection of vegan and gluten-free items.
3. Thai Mint

Leonidas's Thai Mint, located at 1438 S Carrollton Ave., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the Thai spot four stars out of 112 reviews.
"This is my spot," Yelper Camille P. said. "The food is fresh and the staff is amazing. I've literally eaten everything on the menu and enjoyed it all. The cashew chicken, garlic chicken, pad Thai, pad see woon, and fried rice are my favorites."
