Truffle making workshop with Taza Chocolate

Spend Saturday afternoon getting your hands dirty — with chocolate — at The Kitchen at the Boston Public Market. The family-focused event, hosted by the Taza Chocolate Bar, will feature two hands-on activities.

First, a chocolate chef will teach groups how to make dark chocolate ganache from scratch with high-quality ingredients. Once its done, participants can dig in by dipping treats in the hot chocolate sauce, like fondue.

Then, families will make hand-rolled chocolate truffles, filling them with chocolate ganache, dipping them in four to five different toppings, then boxing them to take home — or devour on the way.

When: Saturday, August 4, 1-2 p.m.
Where: The Kitchen at the Boston Public Market, 100 Hanover St.
Price: $28-$35
