If you're interested in exploring the popcorn flavor spectrum beyond butter, cheese and caramel, look no further than Smith Family Popcorn, which dishes up kernels in quirky flavors like birthday cake, cookies and cream or taco. (They've got all those classic ones, too.)

As the name suggests, the business is indeed owned by the Smith family, who became infatuated with popcorn during summer vacations in Ocean City, MD. A portion of all sales is donated to local nonprofits like the Rotary Club of Hyannis and the Cape Cod Baseball League.

With a five-star Yelp rating out of five reviews on Yelp, Smith Family Popcorn has been getting positive attention.

Yelper S A., who reviewed Smith Family Popcorn on June 6, wrote, "Some of the best popcorn I've ever tasted. After leaving many dinners hungry from [the] lack of quality food joints on the Cape, I knew I could always come back to my hotel room to have some of this."

Mindy T. noted, "Great addition to Main Street Hyannis. As their name says, this is a family-owned and operated business. The popcorn is delicious, and so many flavors to choose from."

Smith Family Popcorn is open from 10 a.m.–8 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and 10 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
