Gelato Fiasco

Wander over to 150 State St. and you'll find Gelato Fiasco, a new spot to score gelato. This is a pop-up outpost of the popular Portland, Maine-based gelateria that will be open until September, serving up popular flavors like dark chocolate caramel sea salt, strawberry balsamic and Netflix and Chill (vanilla ice cream with caramel, peanut butter cups and brownie bites).

Barrio

Barrio is a new Mexican restaurant and cocktail bar that's located at 319 Vaughan St. This taco spot, whose original location is in Cleveland, dishes up a variety of margaritas and build-your-own tortilla creations with shrimp, steak, chorizo, Thai chili tofu and a host of toppings. And with five stars out of nine reviews on Yelp, it's been a hit thus far.

Cornerstone Artisanal Pizza & Craft Beer

Cornerstone Artisanal Pizza & Craft Beer is a New American spot that's located at 110 Brewery Lane. It got its start in Ogunquit, Maine, and recently expanded to Portsmouth. As the name suggests, its specialties are pizza and craft beer, with more than a dozen brews on tap. 

The Statey Bar And Grill

Head over to 238 Deer St. and you'll find The Statey Bar and Grill, a new sports bar. It's the new home of the 35-year-old State Street Saloon, which was tragically destroyed in a 2017 fire. The owners have now reopened in a new location, offering the same sports-bar vibe and menu of beers, burgers and wings. 

Gourmet Garage

Gourmet Garage is a New American spot that's located at 92 Langdon St. Run by a husband-and-wife team, it offers up dishes like ceviche and Kobe beef sliders. There's a selection of beer and wine, or diners can BYOB for no corkage fee. 

900 Degrees

900 Degrees is an Italian spot, offering pizza and pasta, that opened recently at 2454 Lafayette Road. It's the third outpost in a mini-chain that also has locations in Manchester and Epping, and serves Neapolitan-style pies, salads, pastas and desserts.
