If gelato's what you're after, look no further than this new business. Called Gelato Fiasco, the fresh addition is located at 150 State St.
The new Portsmouth outpost of Portland, Maine's popular gelateria is a special pop-up for the summer, which will shutter in September. It's dishing up a dozen signature flavors both classic (blueberry crisp, vanilla bean, chocolate) and unusual (Netflix and Chill, a vanilla gelato with peanut butter cups, brownie chunks and caramel).
All of Gelato Fiasco's flavors are made with milk from family farms and natural cane sugar.
It's still early days for the fledgling business—it's got just one review on Yelp thus far.
Todd J., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on June 30, wrote, "Fantastic pop-up that we got to visit on its second day! The dark chocolate caramel sea salt gelato was to die for. My wife got the blueberry crisp; that was delicious as well!"
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Gelato Fiasco - Portsmouth is open from noon–10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and noon–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
