A new Italian restaurant, offering pizza, pasta, soups and more, has opened for business in Arlington. Located at 6204 S. Cooper St., Suite 100, the fresh arrival is called Roma Trattoria.
On the menu, you'll find dishes like the Bisteca al Peppe (grilled shoulder steak topped with peppercorn cream sauce, accompanied by roasted potatoes and vegetables), lobster ravioli with sauteed shrimp, and the Prosciutto e Funghi pizza with mushrooms, ham and mozzarella.
The new eatery has two reviews on Yelp, which both give it five stars.
Jen R., who reviewed the restaurant on June 30, wrote, "Amazing! The staff and owner greeted us with incredible warmth and showed great hospitality. We also had the pleasure of meeting the chef, hailing from Italy, who prepared for us a really fantastic meal. The calamari, seafood pasta, salad, dessert, even the bread — all outstanding!"
Yelper Ted W. added, "After being seated to a table replete with crisp, clean linens, we were delivered homemade bread, hot from the oven, with a small dish of pesto-infused olive oil. Both were divine. I could put that oil on anything."
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Roma Trattoria is open from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. and 4:30–10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 11 a.m.–2 p.m. and 4:30–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
