A new sushi bar has debuted in the neighborhood. Called Sushi Today, it is located at 1562 Tremont St. in Mission Hill.
The space is made bright by colorful parasols hanging from the ceiling, and the kitchen is helmed by a chef with over 20 years of experience.
Rolls include the Cherry Blossom with salmon, avocado and tempura crumbs, topped with tuna, and a vegetarian option with cucumber, avocado, pickled vegetables and seasoned tofu skin. Lunch specials are available.
With a five-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp so far, the newcomer is on its way to developing a local fan base.
Kishan K., who reviewed it on July 18, wrote, "Great food, great staff. Do order the appetizer of the day. Would definitely go here again!"
And George H. wrote, "I will come back here every week. I love sushi but I also don't want to break the bank. Affordable, delicious and friendly environment."
