In the mood for the unlikely pairing of burgers and wine? Check out the new Three B's Burger & Wine Bar, located at 911 Harrison Ave. in the former home of Lakeview Harbor.
Burgers are serious business at the Lakeview spot, with menu options like The Jose (smoked poblano relish, Oaxacan cheese, pickled jalapeños, and guajillo pepper mayonnaise) and the Pig with bacon, creole tomato, dill pickle, basil mayonnaise and mozzarella.
The wines — a number of which are available on tap — lean toward California, with France, Spain and Argentina also represented. Sundaes are available for dessert, which can be enjoyed on the outdoor patio with TV.
With a 3.5-star rating out of 12 reviews on Yelp so far, the new establishment is getting solid feedback from clientele.
Paul G., who reviewed it on July 3, wrote, "The inside is bright and open due in large part to the color scheme and lots of glass. There are booths, tables and copious seats around the bar. Service was cheerful and professional from the greeters to the servers. Judging by our servings, no one will leave hungry."
And William N. wrote, "The waitstaff was very attentive and my water cup never hit empty. I will warn you that the burgers come without sides, so be ready to pay $5-$7 depending on the sides."
