Troy's is a burger joint and cocktail bar with live music that's located inside the new Texas Live! restaurant complex and event venue between AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Park. The concept is from Cowboys Hall of Famer Troy Aikman.

With a rustic interior inspired by beer halls and an outdoor garden patio centered around a live oak tree, Troy's serves up burgers like the Frito Pie Burger (spicy Texas chili, onion, jalapeños, sharp cheddar cheese, Fritos and sour cream drizzle), the Pimento Cheese Burger (grilled red onions, jalapeño, lettuce, tomato, onion and garlic burger sauce) and the Korean BBQ Burger (bulgogi glaze, kimchi, onion and daikon slaw, kimchi mayo and Korean barbecue sauce). It also offers salads, appetizers and desserts, plus signature cocktails.

So far it has seven reviews on Yelp, which puts it at four stars, indicating a positive reception.

Callie L., who was the first to review it on Aug. 10, wrote, "Very cool spot to grab dinner and drinks with friends! Loved the atmosphere and live music. I started with a blackberry ginger margarita — delicious! Well-rounded menu with plenty of options. Definitely something for everyone."

Connie A. noted, "I had the pimento cheese hamburger and it was excellent! The servers were all very quick, friendly and knowledgeable."

Hungry? Drop by to grab a bit to eat. Troy's is open from 11 a.m.–midnight Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–2 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.–11:45 p.m. on Sunday.

Also located in Texas Live!, Sports & Social Arlington is a sports bar that's described as the ultimate clubhouse for Rangers fans. It has 30,000 square feet of space across two levels, with skeeball, table tennis, shuffle puck, air hockey and other entertainment.

The menu offers dishes like the Texas Dog (a hot dog with salsa, shredded pepper jack, jalapeños and chili), the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (buttermilk-marinated chicken breast, spices, pickles, coleslaw and "Comeback" sauce) and the Carnivore pizza (pepperoni, ham, salami, bacon, meatballs and mozzarella). The bar also serves beer and cocktails. (See the full menu here.)

It's still early days for the sports bar, which has just two reviews on Yelp thus far.

Cherese C., who reviewed the new spot on Aug. 19, wrote, "We liked the atmosphere. Service was great and went above and beyond to make us satisfied even where we didn't expect it. Food was good."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Sports & Social Arlington is open from 10:45 a.m.–midnight on Monday, 11 a.m.–midnight on Tuesday and Wednesday, 11 a.m.–2 a.m. on Thursday and Friday, noon–2 a.m. on Saturday, and noon–10 p.m. on Sunday.

Kroger Marketplace is a new grocery store from the supermarket chain. While Kroger already has an established presence in DFW, this 123,878-square-foot location was highly anticipated, according to the Star Telegram, due to the fact that it has a smartphone and tablet shop, a kitchen section that sells dinnerware, a clothing section for infants and even local produce from Texas farmers and ranchers.

With two reviews so far on Yelp, it has a four-star rating.

Jane W., who was the first Yelper to review it on Aug. 3, wrote, "This is a very nice store. Lots of specialty items. It's large and takes a little getting used to locating items. I have shopped here four times since it opened. Unfortunately, each time there were items I needed that they did not carry."

D J. noted, "Way better than the Albertsons across the street. ... Kroger Marketplace is always clean and so far I have had a way better experience here!"

Head on over to check it out: Kroger Marketplace is open from 6 a.m.–1 a.m. daily.
