A new smoothie, salad and juice bar has opened up shop in the neighborhood. The new arrival to Jamaica Plain, called Carrot Flower, is located at 703 Centre St.
The cozy plant-based spot features a menu of fresh juices, including blends like one with orange, carrot, turmeric and ginger, and smoothies like matcha tea with pineapple, spinach, lemon and coconut water. For more substantial fare, try the açaí bowls, salads or toasts topped with avocado, hummus or nut butters. Brewed coffee is available from Dean's Beans coffee company.
There are just two reviews on Yelp thus far, which give it five stars.
Michael M., who reviewed the new spot on Aug. 17, wrote, "I really like this new place. Atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming, and thankfully no loud music, so you can actually have a conversation without yelling. Good energy created by the staff."
Tara T. added, "Staff are very friendly and prompt, the space is adorable, and there is ample seating and fast Wi-Fi for getting some work done while you enjoy your smoothie/toast/açaí bowl."
