Kala Thai Cookery is open from 11:30 a.m.–9:30 p.m. from Monday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 3:30–9 p.m. on Sunday.
Cheers Cut
154 Harvard Ave., Allston

Cheers Cut is a fast-casual Taiwanese spot with multiple locations. The menu is simple: deep-fried or grilled combinations with an array of protein options. Offerings include chicken, squid, beef, shrimp, calamari and chicken nuggets.
Look for appetizers like bean curd, fish cake and king oyster mushrooms. Wash it down with grapefruit green tea and lime black tea.
Cheers Cut is off to a promising start with a Yelp rating of four stars out of 21 reviews.
Yelper Angela S., who reviewed it on July 21, wrote, "There's plenty of seating but don't expect to find many open spots on weekend evenings. I recommend trying the basic ninja chicken nuggets, which is popcorn chicken in true Taiwanese fashion. Pick the salt and pepper flavor and Taiwanese teriyaki sauce (given on the side) for a taste test of the original classic style."
Vinay F. noted, "This place is solid value for money! The food is great, service is quick and parking is easy nearby."
Cheers Cut is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. from Monday–Thursday and Sunday and 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday.
