A new restaurant complex and music venue has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 1650 E. Randol Mill Road, between AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Park, the newcomer is called Texas Live!
The complex is built around a central atrium, which has a 90-foot screen for watching games. Around this central area, spread out across two stories, are restaurants and bars, including Arlington Backyard, Guy Fieri's Taco Joint, Live! Arena, Lockhart Smokehouse, Miller Tavern & Beer Garden, PBR Texas, Pudge's Pizza, Sports & Social Arlington and Troy's. (Learn more about any of these spots on the Texas Live! website.)
It also plays host to live events on a central stage located behind the giant television, which retracts when needed. Check out the schedule of live events here.
With a 4.5-star rating out of 16 reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition has already made a good impression.
Yelper Moto S., who was among the first to review Texas Live! on Aug. 13, wrote, "The venue is crazy nice. Large open area, huge wall with one big screen and lots of smaller ones. The wall actually slides up to reveal a stage for music acts. Also a big upper level. You say you hate waiting to get a drink? No problem, this place was made for you!"
Montinique M. added, "This place is literally a must see. Unlike anything I have ever seen before. The space is massive, interior is beautiful and the details are immaculate. Staff is quick and friendly. Drinks were spectacular."
