A new food truck has opened for business in the neighborhood. Based at 705 S. Marquette Ave. in Downtown West, the fresh arrival is called Electric Noodle. You can learn more about its current whereabouts by checking its Facebook page.

The food truck serves Asian fusion fare, specializing in mazeman (brothless ramen) noodle bowls, sandwiches and sliders. Options include the pork belly mazemen and the crispy chicken sandwich, plus sides like cheese fries and the pork belly mac and cheese.

It's still early days for the fledgling business — it's got just one review on Yelp thus far, which puts it at five stars.

Steven C., who reviewed the new spot on Aug. 3, wrote, "I just ate an order of the pork belly buns and they were pretty darn great! Pork belly was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and the buns were fluffy little pillows."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Electric Noodle is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Tuesday–Saturday and 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
