Interested in discovering the newest businesses to open in Atlanta? From a fusion Mexican spot to a margarita-focused cocktail bar, read on for a rundown of the fledgling businesses spreading their wings near you.
Mouth Of The South

Mouth Of The South is a lunch and dinner Mexican-American hybrid restaurant that recently opened at 186 Carroll St. SE in Cabbagetown. The wide-ranging menu has plenty of tacos with both traditional (fried fish) and fusion fillings (pulled pork with grilled pineapple and hoisin sauce).
The menu also features sandwiches, chicken wings, desserts like churros with caramel sauce and bourbon cherry cheesecake, and plant-based options like the vegan BLT. (You can check out the full menu here.)
Grand Lux Cafe

Head over to Suite 2093 of Phipps Plaza at 3500 Peachtree Road NE and you'll find the first Atlanta branch of Grand Lux Cafe, a chain of upscale European-inspired bistros owned by the Cheesecake Factory.
On the menu you'll find steaks, seafood, burgers, pastas and pizzas — and, of course, a selection of cheesecakes like the Oreo cheesecake, Godiva chocolate cheesecake, and salted caramel cheesecake. (You can take a look at the menu here.)
Buteco

Buteco is an all-day Brazilian coffeehouse and bar that opened recently at 1039 Grant St. SE, Suite C-10 in Grant Park.
Owner Rafael Pereira is serving up Brazilian comfort foods like savory ham-and-cheese waffles and shredded chicken-filled croquettes along with cocktails like caipirinhas (with the fermented sugarcane spirit cachaça, sugar, and lime).
Guac y Margys

Now open at 661 Auburn Ave. NE, Suite 120 in Old Fourth Ward is Guac y Margys, a Mexican cocktail bar. The eponymous fresh-made margaritas come in nine types with varying tequilas and additional flavors, from the blueberry-tinged Forever to the Gran Marnier and Cointreau-infused Premium AF. (You can view the full menu here.)
On weekdays, bites are limited to guacamole, cheese dip or bean dip with chips, but the bar serves brunch on weekends and tacos and other foods on Friday-Sunday evenings.
