A new spot to score seafood, Cajun fare and more has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Located at 5917 Convair Drive, Suite 301, in West Cliff, the fresh addition is called Tricky Fish. This is the second location for the restaurant after the one in Richardson.

On the menu, you'll find the Tricky Fish platter (either tilapia, salmon or redfish, blackened, served with crawfish etouffee and dirty rice), the fried shrimp po'boy on a toasted French loaf, and the Abita beer-battered white fish with remoulade sauce, fries and slaw.

Get your meal with a craft beer, wine by the glass or a seasonal cocktail. It also serves a brunch menu on the weekend from 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

With a five-star rating out of six reviews on Yelp so far, Tricky Fish has already made a good impression.

Yelper Melanie Q., who was the first to review it on Aug. 13, wrote, "From the minute you walk in to the minute you leave, you are treated like family. We started with a few drinks and the most amazing calamari I've ever had. ... My entree was the Tricky Fish, which, despite its name, is anything but tricky. It's a very simple, perfectly cooked fish."

Diane B. added, "Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, strong management presence and fresh tasty seafood at reasonable prices. Great variety of dishes, both grilled and fried."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Tricky Fish is open from 10:45 a.m.–11 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m.–11 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m.–10 p.m. on Sunday.
