Looking to chow down on some Thai fare? A new spot has you covered. Located at 51 Hanover St. in the former Casalinga spot in Haymarket, the new addition is called Kala Thai Cookery.

It comes via the proprietor of Watertown's Cha Yen Thai Cookery, Manita Bunnagitkarn. Your favorite noodle dishes are here, including sukothai (noodles, soft-boiled egg, fish cake, fish ball, green beans and peanuts), pad see ew and, of course, pad thai. Classic curries — panang, massaman, red and green — are joined by a pineapple curry with carrots and tomatoes. Dessert is whatever is the homemade ice cream flavor of the day.

With just three reviews on Yelp thus far, Kala Thai Cookery currently has a 4.5-star rating.

Jessica N., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on Aug. 7, wrote, "Best Thai restaurant in Boston — unlike any other. Everything is homemade, and the chef uses real natural ingredients without any preservatives. The appetizers are incredible. Must try: corn cakes. Their pad thai is also very tasty and authentic."

Ryan O. added, "The ingredients are fresh, the flavors bold and everything is homemade. Who would have ever guessed the best Thai is at the entrance to the North End?"

Head on over to check it out: Kala Thai Cookery is open from 11:30 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m.–7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
