201 Courtland St. NE, Downtown

The newly opened Privilege Restaurant specializes in steak and seafood. In the main restaurant, kick your meal off with starters like rock shrimp, flatbread pizza or lump crab cakes.
For heartier fare, look for entree options that include a whole lobster or snapper, stuffed chicken breast, and a 64-ounce porterhouse steak. Complete the meal with sides like creamed spinach, loaded baked potato or garlic noodles.
A separate menu of "bar bites", including wings and sliders, is available in the lounge.

Privilege Restaurant Atlanta is open from 11 a.m.–2 a.m. daily.
Flower Child
3400 Around Lenox Drive, Suite 207, Lenox

Next, Flower Child is a counter-order New American and vegetarian-friendly chain offering salads and bowls.
Each dish is either vegan or vegetarian (and often gluten free) in its base form. Look for the Vietnamese salad, which includes mixed greens with pineapple and avocado and a lemongrass vinaigrette. There's also a "Forbidden Rice" bowl with black pearl and red japonica rices, topped with mixed vegetables and red chili hoisin.
Customers can then add meat options like chicken, steak or salmon, while vegetarians can opt for tofu.
This Buckhead outpost also offers lemonade, kombucha and cold-brewed coffee, plus Georgia-breweed craft beers.
Flower Child's current Yelp rating of 4.5 stars out of 48 reviews indicates positive attention from users.
Yelper Allie K., who reviewed Flower Child on August 23, wrote, "It is a little pricey, but then I realized how fresh and tasty their ingredients were, and it was something I definitely could not have made taste as good at home. They are located in the Shops around Lenox, so there is plenty of parking."
Gennie N. noted, "Flower Child is the new hip healthy food spot in Buckhead. It has a super cute ambiance with lots of options."
Flower Child is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. daily.
The Greater Good BBQ
1021 Howell Mill Road, Home Park

Also in Buckhead is a new casual outpost of the Greater Good BBQ, with counter service and a handful of outdoor tables.
This local favorite for barbecue has been around since 2012, serving baby back ribs, smoked chicken, pulled pork, brisket and wings. Appetizers include smoked jalapeño cheese dip, fried pickles and chili tater tots.
The Greater Good BBQ's current rating of 3.5 stars out of three reviews on Yelp indicates the newcomer is finding its way, but it's still early days.
Yelper Dustin H., who was one of the first users to visit The Greater Good BBQ on July 14, wrote, "I've been here twice, and it's a very welcome addition to the west end of Howell Mill. The food is at a great price point, and the brisket is very very good. The collards may even be better than the meat."
Craig N. noted, "The location is almost a roadside counter, with just a few tables and a small amount of parking. However, the barbecue is great as always."
