In the mood for casual Mexican fare? Three chain restaurants have opened new outposts in Fort Worth. Here's a rundown of the newest places to consider the next time you're in the mood for tacos, quesadillas, chicken mole and more.
Pollo Regio
951 N. Beach St., Fossil Park

Pollo Regio is a Mexican eatery that offers mesquite-grilled chicken and more. It's a Texas chain with most of its locations in the Metroplex.
On the menu, offerings include a whole chicken, chicken soup, the Monterrey platter (seasoned chicken breast with cheese and pico de gallo on top, served with rice, beans and side salad), chicken mole, quesadillas, burritos and more. (See the menu here.)
Pollo Regio has one review on Yelp thus far.
Yelper Eric W. wrote, "The chicken has been hit or miss (mostly hit), but, on occasion, I did end up with a slightly dry bird. The flavor is still great, but when you know what a fresh, juicy chicken can be, to get even a slightly dry one is a bit of a bummer."
Pollo Regio is open from 10 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 10 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
