
Got a hankering for chicken wings? Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top chicken wing spots in Minneapolis, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best places to satisfy your cravings.
1. Runyon's

First up is Runyon's, situated at 107 Washington Ave. North. With four stars out of 156 reviews on Yelp, the North Loop pub and traditional American spot is the top-rated spot for chicken wings in Minneapolis.
Runyon's offers its traditional wings that have been on offer for 35 years in single, double or party sizes. Wings come with blue cheese and celery sticks. Other menu options include sandwiches, burgers, salads and sides.
"I have eaten Buffalo wings at almost every restaurant I've been to and the wings here are hands down top of my list," wrote Yelper Katie M. "The sauce is delicious and even better is their homemade blue cheese! Come for the wings, they will not disappoint."
2. Blue Door Pub

Blue Door Pub, located at 1514 Como Ave. SE, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the bar and eatery, which offers burgers, chicken wings and more, four stars out of 129 reviews.
This small chain was established in 2008 and has four locations in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Wings are available boneless or bone-in and come in 10 different flavors. Try the mild Samurai wings with teriyaki sauce; the medium and hickory-smoked Smoky Bandit; or the hot Jerk with clove, garlic and green onion braised in cider. 3. Tooties On Lowry

Tooties On Lowry, a dive bar that offers burgers and chicken wings in north Minneapolis, is another go-to, with four stars out of 59 Yelp reviews. Head over to 2706 Lowry Ave. North to see for yourself.

4. Cedar Inn

Over in Standish, check out Cedar Inn, which has earned four stars out of 47 reviews on Yelp. You can find the sports bar at 4155 Cedar Ave. South.
Here, wings come in three flavors: Asian sticky, Buffalo and plain, and come in half-dozen, dozen or 18-piece platters. Wings are served with celery and choice of ranch or blue cheese.
