On the hunt for vintage finds and collectibles? Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top antique stores in Minneapolis, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of the best spots to venture next time you're in the market for secondhand treasures.

1. Hunt & Gather

Topping the list is Hunt & Gather. Located at 4944 Xerxes Ave. South in Fulton, it is the highest rated antique store in Minneapolis, boasting four stars out of 80 reviews on Yelp.

The two-story space is packed with an eclectic mix of items from 15 different dealers. Expect everything from jewelry and figurines to mounted animal heads and vinyl records. Check out the store's website here.

"It is difficult to give this fun and funky shop a single label. It is a treasure trove of all sorts of unusual vintage and antique stuff displayed to delight and surprise the shopper," wrote Yelper Kate M. "It is the kind of place you can go into without anything particular in mind and walk out with that one special piece you've wanted for years. A must visit!"

2. The Cottage House

Next up is The Cottage House, situated at 4304 Chicago Ave. South. With 4.5 stars out of 25 reviews on Yelp, the south Minneapolis destination has proven to be a local favorite, offering home and garden items along with its antiques. 

This store switches the theme monthly so visitors can find new things year round. Expect furniture, clothes, plants, knickknacks, art and more. 

Yelper Emily O. said, "One of my favorite places to visit on the weekends when they host their sales. Always something different. I have come away with so many different finds, I can't even count them all."

3. Flamingo's Divine Finds

Flamingo's Divine Finds, a thrift store that offers home decor and antiques in Powderhorn Park, is another much-loved go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 22 Yelp reviews. Head over to 3404 Cedar Ave. South to see for yourself.

Flamingo’s is an occasional sale spot that specializes in affordable artsy, eclectic and vintage furniture and household items. There are 28 sellers that congregate into the space and sales start the second weekend of each month starting on Wednesday. Expect collectibles, lamps, jewelry, mirrors, cameras, advertising and a lot of furniture. Check out the website for more details.

4. Junket: Tossed & Found

Over in Hiawatha, check out Junket: Tossed & Found, which has earned four stars out of 26 reviews on Yelp. You can find the thrift store, which offers antiques and more, at 4049 Minnehaha Ave.

"Junket is a social enterprise committed to operating in service to community and to the environment through creativity and reuse," according to its website.

Find books, knickknacks, dolls, collectibles, furniture, jewelry, knitting supplies and more. Coffee and snacks are also on offer while you peruse.
