Grand Lux Cafe is an upscale traditional American spot, serving up steaks, seafood, burgers, pizza and more at Phipps Plaza.

With additional outposts across multiple states, this newcomer is from the owners of popular national chain The Cheesecake Factory, Eater Atlanta reports, with a menu "devoted to the grandeur and luxury of European cafes with the sensibilities and spirit of an all-American restaurant."

Come try small plate specialties like double-stuffed potato spring rolls; mini crab cakes with mustard sauce; and pot roast cheese fries smothered in gravy and cheddar cheese. (You can view the full menu here.)

Yelpers are generally positive about Grand Lux Cafe, which currently holds four stars out of 38 reviews on the site.

Tracy P., who reviewed the eatery on Aug. 28, wrote, "The restaurant is beautiful, and I really enjoy the vibe. It is very upscale, modern and unique."

"We ordered the Asian nachos and the shrimp and chicken spring appetizers," added Yelper Christina E. "They were so good! For our entrees, we ordered the pasta and salad combo, and the Cajun shrimp and chicken jambalaya. Both great!"

Grand Lux Cafe is open from 11:30 a.m.–11 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m.–midnight on Friday, 10 a.m.–midnight on Saturday, and 10 a.m.–11 p.m. on Sunday.

Originating out of Tennessee, Hattie B's Hot Chicken is an American chain specializing in hot fried chicken that's owned by father-and-son duo Nick Bishop Sr. and Nick Bishop Jr.

According to Eater, "prepare for six levels of hot chicken heat," ranging from Southern-style to "Shut the Cluck Up" — the hottest currently on offer.

The 2,700-square-foot restaurant also features classic American sides like crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw and red skin potato salad, with desserts like banana pudding and seasonal peach cobbler on offer as well. (You can check out the full menu here.)

Yelpers are excited about Hattie B's Hot Chicken, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of 214 reviews.

Maria D., who visited the restaurant on Aug. 27, wrote, "As delicious as I expected! The hype is real and the super long line was totally worth waiting for!"

And Yelper Hayley T. shared, "Hattie B's is outrageously good! The pimento mac was wonderful (and I'm not a huge mac fan), and the fries were also tasty. But, the chicken was the star (as I'd hoped it would be, we did wait in line for an hour, after all)!"

Hattie B's Hot Chicken is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.–4 p.m. on Sunday.

The Greater Good BBQ is a casual eatery, offering American barbecue and more.

This counter-service spot — which now has four outposts in Atlanta — serves up fresh baby back ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken and wings, alongside starters such as fried pickles and pimento barbecue potato skins. (See the full menu here.)

It's still early days for the newest Greater Good BBQ, which has just three reviews on Yelp thus far.

Yelper Dustin H., who reviewed it on July 14, wrote, "I've been here twice, and it's a very welcome addition to the west end of Howell Mill. The food is at a great price point, and the brisket is very, very good. The collards may even be better than the meat."

Craig N. noted, "The location is almost a roadside counter, with just a few tables and a small amount of parking. However, the barbecue is great as always."
