A new taproom for beer lovers has made its debut in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Redmond, called Big Block Brewing, is located at 14950 N.E. 95th St., Suite F. The brewery, which has another outpost in Sammamish, offers a number of craft beers as well as trivia every Wednesday night. Both outdoor and indoor seating is available.

Look for brews like the light and creamy chocolate porter, the raspberry blonde or a milk stout nitro. Pale ales, IPAs and wheat beers are also on offer. This is an adults-only taproom. Hungry? Bring your own food or order a variety of snacks from the bar. Check out the website here for more information and a full list of offerings.

The new addition has received two reviews on Yelp thus far, which gives it a five-star rating.

Brendan S., who reviewed the taproom on Aug. 18, wrote, "Just really good beer. Finally a place in Washington to get great barrel-aged rotating taps. But seriously, great owners, great staff, can easily try 10 beers off the menu and love every one."

Yelper Brianna S. added, “Opening day and I am super impressed. Tried 10 of the beers and enjoyed every one. The cherry sour, an award winner, was delicious. Not too tart or fruity, but full flavor and good drinking."

Head on over to check it out: Big Block Brewing Redmond is open from 3–10 p.m. on Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Monday.)
