In search of a new favorite yoga spot?
Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top yoga studios around Baltimore, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to venture next time you're interested in hitting the mat.
1. YogaWorks - Midtown
Topping the list is YogaWorks - Midtown. It's part of a nationwide chain of more than 60 studios that combine yogic traditions with a modern sensibility. Classes include flow sessions, slower stretch sessions and fitness sessions that combine yoga, dance and circuit training.
Located at 107 E. Preston St. in Midtown, it is the highest-rated yoga spot in Baltimore, boasting 4.5 stars out of 48 reviews on Yelp. YogaWorks also has a highly rated spot in Fells Point at 1807 Thames St.
2. M·Power Yoga
Canton's M·Power Yoga, located at 3600 O'Donnell St., Suite 100, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the yoga spot 4.5 stars out of 39 reviews. It's a locally owned studio that brings elements like live music into the classrooms. There are vinyasa classes, hot yoga and barre workouts that combine yoga, Pilates and the strengthening principles of ballet. Monthly members get unlimited access to yoga and barre classes plus free mat and towel rentals, or you can pay by the class.
3. Yoga Tree
Next, Yoga Tree in Hampden is another much-loved go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 29 Yelp reviews. This is also part of a chain of studios. You'll find classes ranging from high-intensity Pilates to yoga nidra, or yogic sleep, which aims to provide relaxation while in a net-sleeping state. 4. INLINE Group Fitness
Finally, there's INLINE Group Fitness, a Canton favorite with 4.5 stars out of 23 reviews. The locally owned set of studios that includes this Canton branch offers everything from boot camps to barre work and Pilates. Its yoga offerings include vinyasa yoga sessions tweaked to emphasize either strength training, cardio or calorie burning. There's also a special class for expectant moms. Stop by 720 S.
