1. Bleacher Bar

Located under the center field bleachers of Fenway Park (82 Lansdowne St.) but accessible without a game ticket, Bleacher Bar is the highest-rated sports bar in Boston, boasting four stars out of 412 reviews on Yelp.

A handful of TVs show the most important regional and national games. Catch a glimpse of the field through a mesh screen as you sip a draft or bottled beer, or perhaps a whiskey from the full bar. Hungry? Choose from among a long list of hot and cold sandwiches, or stick with snacks like onion rings, sliders or bacon cheese fries.

2. Lulu's Allston

Next up is Lulu's Allston, situated at 421 Cambridge St. The menu features elevated bar fare including an Italian bread salad, slow-roasted pork belly and wild mushroom and spinach risotto. There are beers to match, with about three dozen craft beers and ciders, imported and domestic. Check out the outdoor space if weather allows. With four stars out of 392 reviews on Yelp, the bar has proven to be a local favorite.

3. Four Winds Bar and Grill

Finally, Four Winds Bar and Grill in North End is another go-to, with four stars out of 34 Yelp reviews. This neighborhood spot has plenty of sports-tuned TVs, games like Golden Tee and Big Buck Hunter, plus a jukebox. Snack on mozzarella sticks and cheesesteak egg rolls, or come in for a dinner of pizza, short ribs or the house burger. There's a full bar, but Guinness may be the house beer. Head over to 266 Commercial St. to see for yourself.
