A new spot to score doughnuts and more has opened up shop in the neighborhood. Called Kolache Donuts, the fresh arrival is located at 460 N. Lamar St., Suite 200, in West End Historic District.
Kolache specializes in breakfast items, including doughnuts and coffee, you'll see options like the apple fritter, jalapeño cheese sausage roll, breakfast burrito, croissant sandwich, cinnamon roll and eclair.
For doughnuts, look for options like cake, blueberry, chocolate, sprinkles, glazed, buttermilk and more.
With a four-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the fresh addition has gotten a good response.
Yelper Kinhchhoung Y., who was the first to review it on August 27, wrote, “I went downtown the other day and stopped by this doughnut store. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Highly recommended to everyone! The girl who works there is very friendly and she treats you with nothing but the best."
